Aubameyang – The only Chelsea player to win the title this season
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang played for 8 minutes for Barcelona before joining Chelsea and is therefore recognized as a La Liga 2022/23 champion.

In the La Liga 2022/23 title celebration, Barcelona listed the players recognized as champions by the club, including Aubameyang.
At the start of the 2022/23 season, Aubameyang played for 8 minutes in Barca’s 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano. Thus, the Gabonese player qualifies to receive a championship medal from Barca.
In addition, the Camp Nou club also honored Memphis Depay and Hector Bellerin, players who left during the 2023 January transfer window.
Aubameyang is the only Chelsea player with a title this season. This year, “The Blues” are empty-handed, and do not even have a spot in a European Cup competition.
In early 2022, Aubameyang left Arsenal after disagreements with coach Mikel Arteta. The former Dortmund player was released by the “Gunners” to join Barca.
In the second half of the 2021/22 season, Aubameyang played quite well, scoring 13 goals across all competitions. Coach Xavi was pleased with the performance of the player born in 1989, but due to financial difficulties after signing Robert Lewandowski, Barca resold Aubameyang to Chelsea for 12 million euros in the final days of the summer 2022 transfer window.
At Chelsea, Aubameyang has not been able to shine, scoring a mere 3 goals in all competitions. This summer, the 34-year-old player is likely to be let go by “The Blues” to make way for younger, more suitable signings.
Some sources in Spain reveal that Barca is considering welcoming Aubameyang back, but only if there is no transfer fee involved.
