Lampard confirms 3 Chelsea stars are fit for UCL match against Real Madrid

Frank Lampard has confirmed that three stars in Chelsea’s lineup, including Thiago Silva, Mason Mount, and N’Golo Kante, are all fit and ready to play on Real Madrid’s field on April 12th.

“They [Silva, Mount and Kante] are all fit. They are all in the squad. The three players you mentioned are good and are here.”

Frank Lampard has returned to Chelsea as an interim coach. The young English strategist did not have a smooth start when The Blues lost to Wolves last weekend, but he will have a chance to make a better impression tomorrow morning when Chelsea visits Real Madrid in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Lampard is delighted to confirm that he will have almost a full lineup to participate in the match at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. When asked about Thiago Silva, Mason Mount, and N’Golo Kante, Lampard confirmed that all three could take the field against Madrid.

Lampard added on Kante’s return, and why he believes the Frenchman can hit peak form in no time.

“N’Golo is a special player, I understand what you mean in terms of consistency and the problems N’Golo has had with injuries,’ Lampard said.

“But in terms of coming back and playing at a really high level, I have witnessed him do it.

“He did it for me in the Super Cup against Liverpool for me a few years ago. He passed a fitness test, hadn’t trained in a long time and was the best player in the pitch for 120 minutes.

‘”I think he has the capacity to do it because he’s a special player.

“Hopefully he can do that because he’s that high level a player and when we miss him as a club we miss him because of how good he is”.
