Dennis Wise, a former player, was somewhat of a sinner on the ground. In a 21-year playing career with teams like Wimbledon, The Blue, Leicester City, Millwall, Southampton, and Coventry, Wise, 55, had 123 yellow cards and five red cards.

The most troubling season of Wise’s career was the outcome of a confluence of poor decision-making and unfavorable circumstances. During a friendly match against Atletico Madrid at the Gelderland Tournament in the Netherlands throughout the preseason, he received his first red card. 

Both the player and fullback Carlos Aguilera were dismissed after colliding. Also, the referee reported this incident to the Spanish Federation and Football Association.
